What I eat now?

Omg. I hear this from my toddler every half an hour. This is not an exaggeration. She will eat a banana for breakfast and as soon as she chews the last bite I hear “what I eat now?” Or ten minutes after we eat lunch. Or two minutes after I give her a snack! What the hell man!
Then she tries to con me by saying “not a nummy snack, a healthy snack” ๐Ÿ˜‚ The worst is when I go through the list of potential snacks and get “no no, not that” for each one. Agh!
So now I stuff her up nicely for her main meals and make sure she finishes her food. Then she gets one snack between meals and that’s it. This mum has called it quits!
I can’t be the only mum with snacky kids?? What do you do to stay out of the kitchen?

I am a mum to two curious and energetic little girls. My life is a constant juggling act and contrary to the blog name, it's one long adventure!

I wish my kiddo were hungrier! He is picky about textures (and I sort of suspect we spoiled him with purees which was NOT my idea or desire, but I was overruled) and is so busy playing I have to stop him to eat.

My toddler won’t eat. I have to give him Pediasure nutritional supplements to ensure he gets enough. I stop asking if he wants to eat, and just make something he should like hoping he might eat it. My 12 year old must be going through a growth spurt though. He’s eating more between meals than ever before.

Water? My girls have growth spurts even now they are 6 & 4. When the growth spurt hits it’s like their tummys are a bottomless pit! I even double up theirs lunch boxes. But it comes and goes, just part of growing I presume.
